Five - ஐந்து- பஞ்சம்
ஐந்து(aindhu) - பஞ்சம்(panjam) both means five.
பஞ்ச கர்த்தாக்கள் - panja karttaakkal - five deities
According to Hindu Mythology, the five main deities are
பிரமா(Brahma) (creator)
விஷ்ணு(Vishnu) (preserver)
உருத்திரன்(Ruththiran) (destroyer)
மகேசுரன்(Mageswaran) (obscurer)
சதாசிவன்(Sadhasivan) (enlightener)
The trinity is Brahma, the creator, Vishnu, the preserver and Siva, the destroyer.
பஞ்ச தந்திரம்(panchatantiram) is a title of a book which teaches the five means of accomplishing one's goal.
பஞ்சதாரை (panchadaarai, although it is mostly used in Telugu as panchadaara)
